Ajay Singh (1983 batch: IAS) is Vice Chairman, State Planning Commission, Chhattisgarh. Prior to this, he has experience of serving as the Chief Secretary, Government of Chhattisgarh. He had also extended his public service to the state as Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary/Secretary in many Departments including Health, Food & Civil Supplies, Finance, Planning, Commercial Taxes, Urban Development, Energy and Water Resources. Besides that, he had been on filed level postings at various places including Collector Jabalpur, Sehore, and Sidhi Districts of erstwhile Madhya Pradesh.
